Privacy policy.

The short version

• We collect your email when you buy a product or download the free framework. That’s it.
• We use Lemon Squeezy for payments — they see your card data, we don’t.
• We use ConvertKit (Kit) for email — they store your email and any tags.
• We do not currently use website analytics tools. This disclosure will be updated if we add a privacy-respecting tool in the future.
• We never sell your data. We never share it for marketing. Ever.

1. Who is the controller

Sentinel Asset Holdings, LLC — 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA — operating Hidden Cost of Success, is the data controller for personal data collected through this site.

2. What we collect

Email address. When you subscribe to the Urgency Reset Framework or buy a product, we collect your email address and the product you purchased. Stored in ConvertKit (Kit), our email provider, US-based, with a GDPR-compliant Data Processing Agreement in place.

Payment data. When you check out, Lemon Squeezy collects your card details, billing address (for tax purposes), and IP address. We never see card numbers. Lemon Squeezy is the Merchant of Record and is responsible for the secure handling of payment data under PCI-DSS.

Analytics. We do not currently run any website analytics tool. No cookies, no page-view tracking, no aggregate data collection. If we add a privacy-respecting analytics tool in the future, this section will be updated to disclose what we collect and from whom before the tool is enabled.

Operator’s Dashboard data. If you use Tier 3, the entries you make are stored locally in a file you own on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, and we never receive your dashboard data.

3. What we do not collect

• We do not use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any advertising trackers.
• We do not run any website analytics tool at this time.
• We do not set marketing cookies.
• We do not buy email lists or supplement your data from third-party brokers.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

• Contract: processing your email to deliver a product you purchased.
• Consent: emailing you about new writing, after explicit double opt-in.

5. Your rights

Under GDPR (if you’re in the EU/UK) and CCPA (if you’re in California), you have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise any of these rights, email support@hiddencostofsuccess.com. We respond within 30 days.

6. Retention

Email subscribers: kept until you unsubscribe (one-click in every email). Order records: kept for 7 years for tax and accounting compliance. Operator’s Dashboard data stays on your device; nothing is ever sent to us.

7. International transfers

Sentinel and our processors (Lemon Squeezy, ConvertKit) are based in or transfer data to the United States. Where you are in the EU or UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses with all sub-processors.

8. Children

HCoS is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
